SINOPEC Jianghan Oilfield Branch Salt Chemical Plant is a new type of chemical plant built by comprehensively developing and utilizing underground salt brine resources in Jianghan Oilfield. The plant was built in 1990 and put into operation in April 1993, with 1,407 employees, including college and university graduates and graduate students. There are 1,407 employees in the plant, of which college and university graduates and postgraduates account for 30% of the total number of employees in the plant, and 286 professional and technical personnel of various types. It produces more than 20 varieties of products, such as refined salt, anhydrous manganese nitrate, ionic membrane caustic soda, liquid chlorine, synthetic hydrochloric acid, bleaching powder and so on.
